Two Types of PIN Protection

AppsLeisure uses PINs at two levels to gate access to your network and your classes.

Class PIN

Each class can have its own PIN. The admin adds instructors, who then retrieve the class PIN from the app and share it with attending members. Members enter the PIN to join the class chat room.

Network PIN

The primary sign-up gate. Members must enter this PIN when registering for the first time. It ensures only people connected to your venue can join your network. You share this PIN at reception, on posters, or in welcome packs.

PINs That Rotate Automatically

To prevent PIN sharing with non-members, PINs can be configured to rotate automatically. This ensures that only people who are actively given the PIN by your venue or instructors can access the network.

PIN auto-rotation prevents this from being a long-term issue. Once a PIN rotates, old codes stop working. You can also manually reset any PIN at any time from the admin dashboard if you suspect it's been shared.

The network PIN is venue-wide. However, class PINs are per-class, so you can control access at the class level. This means premium classes can be separately gated from standard ones.

No. The network PIN is only required during first-time registration. Once a member has joined your network, they're in permanently. Class PINs are also one-time entry — once you've joined a class group, you stay in.
Yes. Admins can remove any member from the network at any time through the admin dashboard. Removed members lose access to the community, chat, and all venue-specific content.
